Child Safety Standards
Last updated: July 2026
These Child Safety Standards explain how Kollect(“Kollect”, “we”, “us”) prohibits and combats child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”) across our mobile application and website (together, the “Service”). We have zero tolerance for any content or behaviour that endangers children, including child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”).
1. Our commitment
Kollect strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. Any account that creates, shares, requests, or facilitates such content or conduct is removed, and we cooperate with the competent authorities. Protecting children is a fundamental condition of using the Service.
2. What is prohibited
The following are strictly forbidden on every part of the Service, including public collections, item photos, custom fields, usernames, and any message or report you send:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, or links to it.
- Sexualisation of minors, including any content that depicts, describes, or implies a minor in a sexual manner.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking of minors, and any attempt to contact a minor for these purposes.
- Facilitation or promotion of any of the above.
3. Reporting child safety concerns
You can report content or behaviour that may endanger a child directly from the app: use the report action available on collections and items to flag them for review. You can also contact us at any time at contact@kollect.me. Every report is reviewed, and reports concerning child safety are treated as a priority.
4. How we respond
When we become aware of CSAE, we act promptly. We remove the content, we disable the accounts involved, and we preserve the relevant information as required so that it can be provided to the competent authorities. Where appropriate, we take further action to prevent the individuals involved from using the Service again.
5. Legal compliance and reporting to authorities
Kollectcomplies with applicable child safety laws. Where required, we report child sexual abuse material and related conduct to the competent regional and national authorities, including, where applicable, the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions.
6. Age of users
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed at children. You must meet the minimum age set out in our Privacy Policy to create an account, and the app is rated for a mature audience. We do not knowingly allow children to use the Service.
7. Point of contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety matters is contact@kollect.me. This contact can answer questions about our practices and compliance regarding the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
8. Changes to these standards
We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised standards.
