Latvia 2022: The centenary of Latvijas Banka – financial literacy

Financial literacy is the important ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial literacy is the foundation of our relationship with money, and it is a lifelong journey of learning. The design shows a tree, symbolizing the importance of financial literacy and the knowledge about it. At the bottom is the year of issuance ‘2022’ and underneath the name of the issuing country ‘LATVIJA’. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European flag.
