Malta 2021: Maltese prehistoric temples of Tarxien (of the series UNESCO World Heritage Site)

The design depicts a detail of the prehistoric structure. At the top is the inscription ‘TARXIEN TEMPLES 3600-2500 BC’. At the bottom is the name of the issuing country ‘MALTA’ and underneath it is the year of issuance ‘2021’. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European flag.
